The Bosphorus is one of the most beautiful waterways not only in Turkey but also in the world. It fascinates millions of visitors every year with its unique view, historical and cultural richness. The neighborhoods on the shores of the Bosphorus also have their share of this beauty and each stands out with its unique atmosphere and charm.  

Here are 8 neighborhoods of the Bosphorus with unique views:

1- Bebek

Known for its luxury restaurants, cafes, and shops, Bebek is one of the most popular neighborhoods on the Bosphorus. Especially Bebek Park, it is an ideal place to enjoy the view. Bebek Kahvesi, located in the park, is a pleasant break point with its historical atmosphere and Bosphorus view. There are also many art galleries and museums in Bebek. 

2- Ortaköy

With its historic mosques and lively atmosphere, Ortaköy is one of the most popular neighborhoods on the Bosphorus. You can sit in cafes overlooking the Bosphorus and enjoy the view or take a walk on the beach. Ortaköy Mosque, the most important symbol of Ortaköy, was built in the 19th century and offers one of the most beautiful views of the Bosphorus. 3- Arnavutköy

Famous for its historical mansions and fish restaurants, Arnavutköy is one of the quietest neighborhoods on the Bosphorus. Arnavutköy, which attracts attention especially with its workshops and art galleries, has taken on a bohemian atmosphere in recent years. You can examine the artifacts of Anatolian civilizations at the Sadberk Hanım Museum in the district. Historical Rumeli Kavağı and Garipçe Village are also worth seeing in Arnavutköy.

4- Rumeli Fortress

Built by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Rumeli Fortress is at the narrowest point of the Bosphorus and has a magnificent view. You can see the panoramic view of the Bosphorus by walking on the walls of the fortress. Yoros Castle, located next to Rumeli Fortress, is also a historically important structure.

5- Kuzguncuk

Kuzguncuk, with its historic Greek and Armenian houses and colorful streets, is one of the most beautiful districts of the Bosphorus. There are also many historical fountains and historical mansions in Kuzguncuk. You can enjoy the magnificent view from the Genoese Castle and Aya Yorgi Church.

6- Kandilli
